Hannah Farrow
Financial Advisor
Growing up in Cleveland, Hannah watched in wonder as her mother would print and file mysterious “quarterly reports” to help her clients see the full picture of their financial future. This natural affinity for planning and organizing later led Hannah to her first career in project management and team collaboration at startups including TripAdvisor, as well as six years as an engineering program manager at Apple.
While enjoying her day job crafting plans for teams to build complex software, Hannah discovered a passion for personal finance. She began spending time outside of work helping friends and family with financial questions as well as diving deep into her own equity compensation to understand the details of this powerful wealth-building tool.
After becoming a mother, she decided to return to school and begin a second career as a financial planner, bringing her planning and organization skills to this newfound passion.
At RightWise Wealth, Hannah serves clients directly, as well as informing our broader financial planning and client service programs.
Hannah holds a B.S. in Neuroscience and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she also played ultimate frisbee and led a local Habitat for Humanity chapter. She earned her Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and has passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® exam and is completing her CFP® certification.
Hannah lives in sunny Santa Clara, California, with her husband, their two daughters and a multitude of plants.
About Hannah
-
What do you love about your job?
I love wrangling big projects with so many messy inputs and potential scenarios, and I love helping people create financial independence. Tackling both of these each day, that’s a dream job for me.
-
What do you do outside of work?
I love reading books, everything from fantasy to productivity to parenting. I also cook most nights at home, and have added a lot more kale and avocado to my rotation since moving to California.

Who are your favorite types of clients?
My favorite moments are when I can help clients feel that they have more control in their lives. I especially love working with clients who have equity compensation (which can be confusing!) and with young parents (who face so many tradeoffs each day – ask me how I know.)
