Chris Casale

Financial Advisor

Chris was born and raised in the DC suburbs, often from behind hotel front desks where he watched his father serve guests and lead teams as a hotel manager. Small wonder, then, that he married this love for client service with his knack for numbers by launching a career in hotel finance. Over a decade in financial planning and investment analysis, Chris worked for and with renowned international hospitality brands, always excited about how the math connected to exceptional guest experiences.

While spending his days working on hotel finance projects, Chris developed a passion for personal finance, and began spending weekends and evenings speaking with family and friends about their financial goals. Here he also saw an intersection between analytics and lived experiences. As Chris became a father and contemplated a second chapter for his career, he decided to become a financial advisor to translate that weekend passion into a career.

At RightWise Wealth, Chris serves advice clients directly, as well as informing our broader financial planning and client service programs.

Chris holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Marketing from Georgetown University, where he also played on the varsity baseball team. He graduated from the University of Georgia with his Masters in Financial Planning in August 2024.

Today, Chris lives in Salt Lake City with his wife (Erin), their sons (CJ and Reed) and rescue dog (Squints.)

About Chris

  • What do you love about your job?

Personal finance brings the head and the heart together.  I've always been a “numbers guy” and relish finding new insights, and there are few things I enjoy more than sitting down with people and learning about their lives.  So, I hit the jackpot with a job that brings both of those together.

  • What do you do outside of work?

I love to escape to the mountains: you’ll find me hiking, biking or trail running when I can get away. And even though I’m in Salt Lake City now, I’m still a huge DC sports fan.

  • Who are your favorite types of clients?

As a father of two children, I understand the sentiment of not picking favorites.  Yet, I am particularly drawn to working with young families who are eagerly planning for the exciting chapters that lie ahead.
